Picture it, October 2022, and a 26-year-old Jacalyn decides to participate in Inktober for the second time.
It had been 6 years from my first time participating in Inktober, and after a rough couple of years, I needed to challenge myself creatively and bring some color into my life.
In those 6 years, I had found my voice through my art, which is creating vibrant, exaggerated, colorful creatures. I love telling a story through my art. I love mixing mediums like paint with colored pencils, gouache and watercolor.
Similarly to my 2016 challenge, I combined 2 art prompts to create a different challenge. This time I paired @gabeequinnart #sketchandscream prompts with inktober, resulting in some wonderful creations like Match/Nightlife, Bluff/Vacation from Hell, and Ponytail/Nosey Neighbor(see if you can guess which ones these belong to!)
